Most dogs love water and if your pooch is trained well for baths, he will enjoy the experience and feel pleasant.
Giving your dog a bath helps to remove dirt from his skin and coat, and helps to maintain a healthy and shiny
lustrous coat.
Bathing also provides a positive interaction,thus creating a special bond between you and your pet.
Important Factors To Remember While Bathing Pets:
1.A tub is sufficient to bathe, if you have a small dog. For larger pets, outdoors are great.
2.Make sure to check the temperature of the water. Warm water (not too hot or cold) is ideal for your pet.
3.Brush your dog's fur before bath and remove tangles
and mats if any.
4.Cover your pet's eye and make sure you do not let the shampoo get inside your dog's eyes. It may cause irritation.
5.Choose the right shampoo according to your pet's fur and coat condition. If your pet's coat is dry, use a moisturising shampoo.
6.Dry your dog thoroughly after the bath with a towel
How Often Should You Give Your Pet A Bath?
Dogs do not require everyday bathing. Bathe your dog once
in two weeks.
Suppose if your pet's coat gets dirty while playing in mud, then you can go ahead and given them a bath. Bathe your dog after swimming.
Choose gentle shampoo to cleanse your pet's coat. Dry shampoos can also be used to keep their coat clean in between bathing intervals.
